As your State Representative, Jennifer will be dedicated to improving the lives of women in the 51st District, as well as the rest of Tennessee and across the state by focusing more intently on education, which impacts all aspects of women's lives. Tennessee's women lag in attainment of both high school diplomas and college degrees when it comes to the national median. These statistics show that we have a lot of work to do to address the disparities.

Numerous sources cite education as making a clear positive difference in women's lives. Jennifer believes one of the best ways to reduce poverty is to invest in girls' education. In turn, more educated girls become women who understand the importance of health care and know how to access it for themselves and their families.

There is no doubt that there is much work to be done to advocate for equality and opportunity for women in Tennessee. As your State Representative, Jennifer will make it a priority as a Representative to bring women's concerns to the table and be a passionate advocate for women's issues.
